Pelangi Asmara is a modest wear brand renowned for its specialty scarves and simplistic attire. Introducing the Saranghaeyo series, this collection draws inspiration from Korean flower arrangements and chinoiserie patterns, celebrated for their lush beauty and sophistication.
The design process commenced with extensive research into Korean flower bouquets, chinoiserie patterns, studying their diverse adaptations across Asian cultures to understand the organic forms and intricate anatomy of the florals. From this foundation, a total of 6 scarf patterns and 5 seamless fabric designs were meticulously made.

The challenge lays in translating this inspiration into original and elegant motifs through compositional alterations. Visual ornaments were meticulously explored to create fresh modular forms, breathing new life into traditional patterns. Various layout possibilities were then composed, accompanied by thoughtful color swatching to ensure harmonious combinations that resonate with the collection’s theme and aesthetic.
